- Visa: Although U.S. passport holders do not need to obtain a visa to study in Denmark for a semester, you will be required to apply for a residence permit PRIOR TO YOUR DEPARTURE for Denmark. You will receive more information about this process as you move through the study abroad process directly from your host institution.
