College of Education students can enhance their degree by taking courses in Marquette programs through partnerships with prestigious universities around the world. Education majors are encouraged to focus on taking classes abroad to satisfy content major and UCCS (core) course requirements. Based on your major, please refer to college-specific links on the left for more information.
Below, we've highlighted study abroad programs that offer education-related courses, have potential teaching/observational opportunities, or have structured ways to get involved with local students (e.g. after-school programs). It is important to note that while students studying abroad for the semester may be able to engage in teaching experiences or observation, any teaching experience abroad does not satisfy the MU education required field experience/observation hours due to certification and licensure regulations. There are other international opportunities available for education students such as summer study, language study, or participating in a faculty-led program.
